True Collaboration – Helping Our Partner Ecosystem During the Coronavirus
Much has changed in the world over the last few weeks, but our commitment to the Sage Intacct partner ecosystem remains the same. Our partner philosophy has always been that if our customers and partners don't succeed, we don't succeed. That approach guides everything we do.
We’ve always supported our Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partners and our Sage Intacct Accountants Program (SIAP) partners with a vast array of services: from marketing, sales training, co-selling, to involved in partner enablement – we’re there every step of the way. Our partners are an unbelievable resource to help their customers use Sage Intacct to transform their businesses and our goal is to do everything we can to provide the assistance that make that happen. Especially now.
As we all work through the new business environment created by the coronavirus, we recognize that our partners have customers in hard hit industries like hospitality and we're paying close attention to those organizations – providing assistance to help them bounce back more quickly and ensure business continuity. During this time, we’re opting to be over communicative with our partners to ensure that we’re meeting and anticipating their business needs, that way they can focus on their families and their health.
Business continuity is top of mind for most companies right now, and that is no different with our partners and their customers. We’re taking a truly collaborative approach, reaching out to the partners and discussing their cash flow, their expenses, understanding what capital expenditures can be postponed, and ensuring they have access to the resources they need. The Sage Intacct team is committed to not just helping our partners come out the other side of this but being present every step of the way and reaching that success together. As an organization that's built on a true partnership model, we’ll be there, side by side, and we'll do everything we can to help our partners.

Our partners and the community that we’ve built is one of the things that inspires every Sage Intacct colleague to persevere, and we will continue to provide this incredible level of support today and for years to come.

Taylor Macdonald is responsible for managing the Sage Intacct Value Added Reseller (VAR) and CPA channel initiatives. Taylor has more than 20 years of experience building and operating some of the largest and most successful channel programs in the world for financial and ERP providers, including Deltek and Sage. Taylor founded Macdonald Consulting Group in 1990, and was named Sage Software's top worldwide business partner seven years in a row. Taylor was also named a Top Channel Executive from VARBusiness and Top 50 Channel Champion from CRN for three consecutive years. He has appeared on the Accounting Today list of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting 15 times. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University. He previously served multiple terms on the board of directors for the Information Technology Alliance.
