The Sage Intacct Office Culture


It’s been awhile since I’ve given our blog readers a behind the scenes look at the Sage Intacct culture and with all the exciting things going on lately, it seemed like the perfect time to give an update!

As you’ve already heard, we recently announced the acquisition of Intacct by the Sage Group for $850M ushering us into a new era as Sage Intacct! We are incredibly excited for a bright and successful future ahead as part of the Sage family.

Notably, we’ve also grown the Sage Intacct employee base by over 50 percent in the last 18 months! It’s an exciting time to be here. With the continued success of the company, we are in the process of building out another floor in our current headquarters at 300 Park Avenue in downtown San Jose to accommodate the growth. 

In a related note – we can’t hire fast enough! In the U.S we have over 40 job openings, a dozen in India, and a handful in Romania as well.

Both the India and Romania offices are expanding and still growing quite significantly: India now hosts approximately 70 Sage Intacct employees and Romania has over 40 employees.

Aaron Harris is very hands on with the Romania engineering team. It is critical to Sage Intacct that we ensure that the great office culture and passion that stems from the San Jose headquarters is maintained regardless of location.

There are also a lot of initiatives that are being rolled out to support the organization’s growth.  One area that we rolled out this year was in employee learning and development.  We are committed to ensuring that our employees have the right tools in place to continue to develop and be successful. 

Sage Intacct has won a number of awards lately too! We have been able to continue to build a phenomenal company culture where people truly love working here.  One special award that we received is that three Sage Intacct women were recognized by the Silicon Valley Business Journal as Women of Influence.  It was the first time in the Business Journal's history that three people from one company have been named to the list in the same year!

We’ve always done monthly birthday parties, celebrations around each holiday, the summer picnics, and holiday events. We’re also very encouraging about volunteering – during work hours - at places like Habitat for Humanity, Operation Gratitude, Second Harvest Food Drive, Family Giving Tree, and Fishes and Loaves.

We’ve also been ramping up efforts to majorly reward our top performing sales development representatives in fun and special ways. Sage Intacct recently took a few employees that achieved stellar results to drive race-cars for the afternoon. Check out those photos here!
