Sage Launches Sage Intacct to Customers in the UK
November is a big month for Sage Intacct! Not only are we celebrating the 20th anniversary of Intacct, but I’m also thrilled to announce that Sage Intacct’s award-winning cloud financial management system is now officially being sold locally to UK customers.
This news follows the recent success of Sage Intacct’s Australia launch in late August, where we’ve already seen outstanding customer response. Last week, UNICEF Australia became the first nonprofit organization to announce their selection of Sage Intacct in Australia, while ASX listed 360 Capital announced the week prior they have already gone live on the platform.
The UK launch of Sage Intacct marks a key milestone for Sage, as the product is now available to customers across all four major English-speaking markets: US, Canada, Australia, and now the UK. This launch will also be a game-changer for leading financial executives in the UK as Sage Intacct’s native cloud platform gives CFOs and their teams the insights and automation they need to deliver a value-add, strategic service, keeping up with the ever-changing demands of the business environment.
Sage Intacct’s expansion into the UK addresses a market need that finance leaders have been waiting for. Sabby Gill, Managing Director UKI at Sage, noted, “Our UK research shows that CFOs are now expected to be a ‘visionary,’ using and analyzing data to predict the future direction of the organization and drive digital transformation. Sage Intacct will be sold in the UK through Sage direct and partner channels, allowing new customers to access the deep expertise in specific vertical markets that our Sage partner ecosystem delivers.

Marc Linden has more than 30 years of finance, business strategy, and general management experience. As EVP and General Manager, Medium Segment Native Cloud Solutions, Marc leads both the Sage Intacct and Sage People organizations – Sage’s native cloud solutions. One of Sage Intacct’s longest tenured leaders with more than 10 years of service, he was the CFO of Intacct prior to the acquisition by Sage. Prior to Sage Intacct, Marc spent four years as CFO for Mirapoint, Inc., a leader in secure appliance solutions for messaging. He served as general manager of Openwave's messaging business unit. Marc came to Openwave from the unified messaging company Onebox, where he was CFO, and was instrumental in the sale of Onebox to Phone.com for $850M. He has held positions in corporate development and planning at Octel, served as vice president of business development and CFO for Global Village / OneWorld. His career began in technology practice at McKinsey & Company. Marc holds an economics degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
