Annual top value-added reseller list showcases continued success of sage partner programs

It’s official! The 2019 VAR Stars list has been announced. Why does this matter? Because the selection of the 100 mid-market accounting software resellers for Bob Scott’s “VAR Stars” rests on one basic principal as the deciding factor: quality.

On this year’s list, nearly half of the 2019 VAR Stars market and sell one or more Sage products. Amongst native cloud solutions offered by the 100 VAR Stars, Sage Intacct dominated the list with 35 firms reselling our award-winning cloud financial management system. Of that group, just over half (18) also resell additional Sage solutions and they are joined on the list by a dozen additional Sage resellers who don’t currently offer Sage Intacct.

In order to determine the 2019 VAR Stars list, a variety of criteria were examined, such as:

• Awards resellers have received from vendors, such as Sage Intacct President’s Club or Sage CEO Circle
• Leadership in the industry
• Development and acceptance of important software products by the resellers

While the list tries to represent as many software publishers as possible, there is no ranking within the list. Firms were asked to provide the number of employees and revenue, which was only used to evaluate growth.

Having such a large percentage of partners on the VAR Stars list is a testament to the quality of the firms the various Sage Partner Programs attract.
